Johanna Head
Johanna (or Jo as she informed us) is one half of the English golfing Head twins. Her sister, Samantha, plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and appeared on The Golf Channel’s ‘Big Break Ka’anapali’.
Jo had heard of Shaft Skinz before we got the chance to introduce ourselves so convincing her to try a Champagne Skinz on her wedge was, well...easy actually!
“I’m a champagne kind of girl” she announced as she nipped balls off the turf into the powder blue sky in preparation for the British Open.
We just smiled and backed away slowly trying not to fall into the trap of offering to buy her a drink!
Jo uses an Ian Poulter Tour bag in grey accented with pink. The new shaft complemented the whole look beautifully.
This seems to be the same Callaway wedge Tim Petrovic uses. Rather coincidentally, it’s stamped in just the same way as Tim’s was - this time with the word ‘JO’. Sure to increase the value should it ever find it’s way onto Ebay!
We could comment on the fabulous looking shaft here but let’s just park that for a moment...
We’re actually more tempted to say that these are possibly the best legs on Tour. However, we think that might be sexist, so we won’t!
